BRIEF HISTORY::

                Murphy Blackwell was born in 2001 to Jennifer, a museum curator, and Malcolm Blackwell, a police officer - their third and final child – their only girl. Growing up in an upper-middle-class family, she enjoyed an unremarkable childhood with loving parents and two annoying older brothers, Max and Jake. 

                In her teens, Murphy’s rebellious streak began. More often than not, Murphy had been caught coming home well after curfew or sneaking out of the house in the middle of the night. Always the life of the party, she continuously bounced from one party to the next, drinking and doing drugs, a habit that lead to her dropping out of university.

               She left her parent’s house in Galway in 2020 and moved into a small, one-bedroom apartment in New York where she found a job as a full-time bartender.
